A meal plan means the foods that your dietician has designed specifically for you. Your meals should include breads, cereals, fruits, green vegetables, and dairy products. If you do not follow a diet plan then your body weight will increase and thus your blood glucose and blood pressure will also rise.
Not physically active: If you are diabetic then you will have to be physically active. If you do not get yourself involved in any physical activity such as walking, cycling, or jogging then you won’t be able to shed extra weight, and also the blood glucose level. Keeping you active every day for about 30 minutes can help check the glucose level significantly.
Not checking your blood glucose regularly: When you are taking care of diabetes, you will surely want to know the glucose level from time to time. Monitoring your blood glucose level will help check the level by changing the meal plan, physical activity and or medications. But if you do not monitor frequently, you won’t be able to check your blood sugar level. In addition, self-medication should always be avoided.
